Southwest Fire and Rescue is hosting a Chili Benefit for Alex McKiernan on Sunday February 23rd from 4-8pm at the Sprague/Martell Community Center. Alex McKiernan was seriously injured in a car accident in January and is undergoing intensive therapy to enable him to walk.
McKiernan is a Southwest Firefighter and EMT and co-owner with his wife Chloe of Robinette Farms. Through their farm, they supply many local businesses and operate a CSA. Alex and Chloe have three very young daughters.
Proceeds will help with medical expenses for Alex and other expenses of the family.
Bring your friends and family and enjoy some delicious soup while donating to a very worthwhile cause!
